Peter Taylor's brilliant documentary on the 1980 Iranian embassy siege, shown on BBC2 last week, contained the revelation that Fowzi Nejad - the sole survivor of the gang which stormed the building - is still locked in a high-security British prison.

After the six-strong gang had murdered a hostage, the SAS ended the siege with a dramatic raid in which five terrorists died. Nejad survived by passing himself off as a hostage.
