The Journal and Its Features

Douglas Sherbaniuk, who was the director of the Canadian Tax Foundation for almost 25 years, from 1969 to 1994, always emphasized the importance for the journal and for the Foundation more generally of publishing the very best of Canadian tax scholarship. In his report to the 39th annual meeting of the Foundation, near the beginning of the journal's fourth decade, he explained:
