Trading entrepots pivotal to growth in Jilin Province

Over the next five years, Northeast China's Jilin Province will
continue to focus on opening up, by upgrading trading entrepot
facilities.
Jilin is one of the nine inland provinces and autonomous regions
in China that border foreign countries.
At present, the province has 30 foreign trade entrepots.
According to the province's 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-10), a large
portion of investment in the province will be channelled into trading
entrepot construction.
About 1.5 billion yuan (US$186 million) will be invested in the
construction and renovation of trading entrepot infrastructure and
