NEW ORLEANS -- The firm is called Smith, Barrow & Armstead. Although they work well individually, each possessing unique skills, they are most effective as a unit, arguably performing as well as anyone has at any time in the history of college football.

The collegiate careers of Darrin Smith, Micheal Barrow and Jesse Armstead will end Friday night in the Superdome when top-ranked Miami plays No. 2 Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, an event that deserves all the attention it is receiving this week.
