A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in First Congregational Church, Winchester, for Vincent Farnsworth Jr., a longtime employee of Boston Gas Co. Mr. Farnsworth died Friday in a Franklin, N.H., hospital.

He was 91 and a resident of Naples, Fla., and Kennebunk, Maine.

Born in Revere, Mr. Farnsworth graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, and from Yale University in 1924 with a degree in engineering.
