Les Miserables Brass Band defines its music simply: from Macedonia to Motown.

It's a big world out there and most of it plays some form of brass music, and so the group fearlessly tackles gospel music and Bolivian marches; Balkan rhythms and Mexican waltzes; tangos, polkas and Pakistani music. Then, for good measure, they add an original composition or arrangements of Ellington or Jimi Hendrix.

It's a "why not?" approach that has proven remarkably successful.
