Galley a welcome sight upon return
|
He made his way through the hallway, pausing every few feet
because so many people wanted to shake his hand and wish him well --
members of the Garden crew, former teammates, members of the media,
everybody he passed, it seemed.
What made the sight so strange was that Garry Galley had come in
and out of the building for the past 3 1/2 seasons treated like a
resident and not a guest, only now he was exiting the visitors'
dressing room, no longer a Bruin.
It had been only nine days...
