Hanson returns to lead St. John's Prep hockey program

DANVERS - Kristian Hanson still remembers the day in the fifth
grade when his father drove past St. John's Prep and said, "Someday,
I'd love to see you go here."
When he arrived on the Danvers campus as a freshman in the early
'90s, Hanson said, "It was the best move I ever made."
How often do you get to make the same move twice?
By naming Hanson its hockey coach, the Prep tapped not only one of
the North Shore's up-and-coming coaches to lead its team next winter,
but also an Eagle alum who played under the man he's replacing, Bob
Marinelli, who stepped down in May after 12 years.
