Save for election years, when a pitch from the pulpit is de
rigueur for campaigning politicians, you wouldn't expect to see Scott
Harshbarger preaching in a chapel. Yet the former state attorney
general got to be homilist one day last month at Cornell University,
where he delivered a message unusual for a lawyer: The law isn't all
it's cracked up to be, at least as a code for ethical behavior.
