EASTON - Sacred Heart turned on the defensive pressure from the beginning of the game and never looked back last night at Stonehill College, rolling to a 45-31 victory over Nantucket in the girls' South Sectional final.

Sacred Heart (22-2) will face New Mission, the North Sectional champion, Monday at TD Banknorth Garden in its first state final since winning the Division 4 title in 2000. This year's team has relied on its defense to stump opponents while pulling away to double- digit leads.
