OCT. 13 - BC 4, NOTRE DAME 1 The Eagles opened the season in Omaha in the first round of the Maverick Stampede. They beat the Fighting Irish behind two Jeff Giuliano goals and 25 Scott Clemmensen saves.

Oct. 14 - BC 5, Nebraska-Omaha 1

Mike Lephart scored twice and Krys Kolanos added three assists as BC took the first Maverick Stampede championship. Clemmensen stopped 36 shots and was named tournament MVP.
