Louis Constantine, 82; part of Normandy attack, pipefitter
A funeral Mass will be said today for Louis C. Constantine of East
Freetown, who died Saturday at Mediplex Rehabilitation Hospital in
New Bedford. He was 82.
He was born in New Bedford and lived there and in East Freetown
for most of his life.
He was in the Army's 9th Infantry Division during World War II and
received seven Battle Stars, serving in North Africa and in such
pivotal battles as the Normandy invasio...
