MERRIMACK -- Who says Catholic churches are suffering from diminishing memberships? That's not true in southern New Hampshire, where at least eight churches have been built during the past two years or are under construction in the Nashua area alone.

Perhaps Julia Lemay, secretary at the Parish of the Resurrection in Nashua, which just broke ground for a new church, said it best: "New churches are going up like gas stations around here."
