The question after every party engineered by Malcolm Rogers, the
Ann and Graham Gund Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, is: "How can
Malcolm top this?" The answer: "Wait till the next party." His
most recent extravaganza was Saturday night's "Un Bal Masque," a
celebration of the $110 million fund-raising campaign which, at the
end of October, topped $137 million. Preceding the masked ball were
a series of dinners, a most opulent one held for major benefactors in
