WELLESLEY -- Chen Yi, one of two resident composers at this year's
Wellesley Conference, has a buoyant and enthusiastic personality, but
whenever the phrase "ear training" passed her lips Thursday night, it
seemed that there was an extra glow, an extra degree of enthusiasm.
