RADCLIFFE'S DAYS AS COLLEGE COMING TO END

When Rachel Barber graduates from college next year, her
Harvard degree -- and those of all undergraduate women at the
school -- will be signed by the president of Radcliffe College,
Linda S. Wilson.
Barber finds that "surprising and insulting," since she will
have completed the same work as male students of Harvard. Her only
contact with Radcliffe, she said, was a speech by Wilson to
Barber's freshman class 2 1/2 years ago.
"She told us we were special, but I've always been told that
we are the same as boys," said Barber, who was born in 1977, the
