Minuteman High School struggles to attract students Changes may be sought in school's structure

When Amanda Galeno of Arlington decided to attend Minuteman
Science-Technology High School after a visit four years ago, her
mother's response was less than enthusiastic. "No," she said,
"you're going to college."
Today, Galeno's mother is a Minuteman fan and her daughter is
headed for college, along with about half the school's seniors.
Junior Christopher Buck of Carlisle is on his way to Northeastern
University a year early, and students are buzzing about Concord
junior Dan Ramras' near-perfect SAT scores and acceptances to MIT,
Yale, and Cornell.
