It is tempting to read about the recent evictions of accused troublemakers and their families from the Old Colony public housing development as the latest chapter in the saga of race in South Boston, and in a way it is. Or you can see the dispute as a sad morality play about three innocent families suffering for the sins of their sons, and that would make sense, too.
