MUNSTER, Germany -- As her last official act as director of Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art, Milena Kalinovska recently escorted a group of ICA trustees and supporters on a tour of Germany and her native Prague, a fund-raising jaunt that seemed exceptionally gracious given the awkward nature of her departure. In January, five years and three months into the job, she submitted a letter of resignation, which the trustees only got around to accepting in April.
