Quinn helps lift Huskies to win against rival BU

WALTHAM -- Northeastern University junior linebacker Matt Quinn was in the right place at the right time last weekend at Boston University's Nickerson Field to help stop a late BU drive and enable the Huskies to beat the Terriers, 14-3, in the fourth annual Canine Classic.

Quinn, a three-sport captain at Waltham High who was named the school's athlete of the year as a senior, picked up a BU fumble deep in Northeastern territory in the fourth quarter and returned it 14 yards to end the Terriers' final offensive threat of the day.
