Walk up to Bert Cohen and he will probably plop a marble in your pocket.

If you don't know how to play, he'll teach you.

If you don't know how to shoot, he'll show you.

You have to listen to him, because the man knows his marbles.

He shoots, swirls, swaps and shares the little spheres with strangers.

After all, he has about 300,000 marbles in his home.

Indeed, Cohen is a marble maniac. He plays marble games. He reads marble books. Marbles emblazon his shirts. Marble photographs hang in his home. Even his calling card comes in the shape of a tiny glass globe with his name on it.
