Spring Cleaning the Psyche; Time to Unclutter the Attic of Your Mind

For Bill McCulloh, springtime means cleaning off his desk. Every year, papers, books and letters pile there unattended through the semester -- as do, it always turns out, small pieces of his inner life to be reflected on once classes end.

"There is just so much that hasn't been dealt with," says McCulloh, a classics professor at Kenyon College in Ohio since 1961. "I discover things that are important and that I should have dealt with long ago."
