'93 bay scallop harvest may be worst in years
|
NANTUCKET -- Of all the bounties of the sea, many gourmets claim,
no delicacy surpasses the bay scallop, and the acknowledged
best-of-the-best are bay scallops harvested from shallow waters
around Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod between November and
March.
The bay scallop brings critical off-season income to hundreds of
