Everyone knows the American colonists lost the Battle of Bunker Hill but won the war for independence. Many people even know the battle was actually fought on Breed's Hill. Tourists -- and many a Bostonian -- may wonder who lives on Monument Square in Charlestown, a square of mostly 19th-century houses surrounding the sublime gray stone obelisk that is the Bunker Hill Monument. Our tour begins at the monument itself, where on this particular day, there's a musket demonstration.
