Gardens in Somerville - a city of three-deckers, crowded
streets, tiny yards and urban congestion?
Yes, indeed, and there are all kinds, Italian vegetable
gardens, Chinese flower gardens, back-yard gardens and front-yard
gardens. There are brick walks, patios and stone walls, even a
little patch of garden bordered by china plates.
Some gardens are hidden, others can be seen by just walking by.
The gardens are are featured in an exhibit at the Somerville
Museum through Oct. 27.
The Somerville Arts Council decided to do something about the
