ORLEANS - Best known to summer vacationers for the towering dunes of Nauset Beach and the sandy shores of Skaket Bay, Orleans is, to year-round residents, the hub of lower Cape Cod.

"It's like the Hyannis of the lower Cape, but a lot smaller and more personal," said Town Executive Nancy Schwinn.
