STANLEY P. BIELSKI, 71 FORMER NEEDHAM POLICE DETECTIVE

Stanley P. Bielski of Needham, a retired detective sergeant with his town's police department, died of cancer yesterday in Glover Memorial Hospital, Needham. He was 71.

Mr. Bielski joined the Needham Police Department in 1941 and retired in 1981 as a police prosecutor in Dedham District Court. Earlier in his police career he served as a photographer.
