LUDOVICO BORGO, 59 ART PROFESSOR AT BRANDEIS

Ludovico Borgo, a specialist in Italian Renaissance art and
a professor at Brandeis University since 1969, died of cancer
yesterday at his home in Wellesley. He was 59.
Mr. Borgo, Robert B. Mayer memorial professor of fine arts at
Brandeis, specialized in Florentine art. He had written a book
about the work of Mariotto Albertinelli and at the time of his
death was preparing a monograph on the painter Fra Bartolommeo.
