ATLANTIC CITY - The south New Jersey shore has another lighthouse: the Trump Taj Mahal casino resort.

At the Taj's opening recently, a thick fog hung over Atlantic City's famous 4-mile-long boardwalk but none of the 60,000 or so people who showed up on the first day had any trouble finding the place. Even in pea soup weather the Taj's polychrome decor and neon trim glowed and glimmered surrealistically, distinctively.
