Well, if you want to do the ice cream manufacturers a favor, you'll help them celebrate National Ice Cream Day with at least a lick or two of your favorite flavor.

Should you be too busy doing something else on Monday, not to worry -- you have the rest of July to acknowledge National Ice Cream Month.

Actually, however, New Englanders don't need a specific day or a month to enjoy ice cream because the Washington, D.C.-based International Ice Cream Association (IICA) tells us we are big ice cream eaters year round.
