'BABAR'S FIRST STEP' ON HBO

One of the most beloved children's book characters of all time
will be coming to the television screen this morning at 8 on HBO.
Babar the Elephant will star in a new animated family series,
beginning with "Babar's First Step." Additional episodes will be
shown on subsequent Sundays at the same time.
"Babar's First Step" describes what happens when Babar's
mother is killed by a hunter. Babar vows to avenge her death and in
the process learns about courage and fortitude.
