GEMAYEL ACCEPTS FELLOWSHIP AT HARVARD
|
Amin Gemayel, the former president of Lebanon, has arrived
in Cambridge to accept a fellowship at Harvard's Center for
International Affairs.
"We're very excited about it," said Leslie H. Brown, director
of the center's fellows program, in a telephone interview
yesterday. "Anyone of that stature who is coming here from a
country that has undergone what the Middle East and Lebanon have
undergone is obviously of great interest to many people here."
Gemayel is expected to stay at Harvard through the rest of the
spring semester and possibly through the fall, according to Brown.
