LEGAL PROBLEMS MOUNT FOR LEADING EDGE

Leading Edge Products Inc.'s problems mounted yesterday as
six dealers pressed to have the firm declared bankrupt and the FBI
said it would launch an investigation.
The dealers filed a petition in US Bankruptcy Court in Boston
claiming the Canton personal computer company owes them $799,000
for cash they paid in advance for computers that were never
delivered.
The FBI said it will look into the firm's business practices.
"We are initiating an investigation to determine if there has been
any violation of federal law," said John J. Cloherty, office
spokesman for the FBI's Boston office. ...
