NAVY'S BILL XXII PASSES ON

With the death of Bill XXII, an Angora goat that has been the Naval Academy's mascot since 1979, the duty of goading Navy teams to victory on the football field passes to Bill XXVI.

"I hope he rests in peace after faithful service since 1979," academy spokesman Jim Kiser said.
