go was Franklin Park, 500 acres of magnificent greenery considered
-- with New York's Central Park -- among Olmsted's greatest
achievements. Few newcomers have been to the park. But if you grew
up in Dorchester, Roxbury or Jamaica Plain, your scrapbook contains
yellowed photographs of happy Sundays at Franklin Park, and what a
