suggests a trendy throwback to the poet e.e. cummings. But as far
as we can tell, k.d. lang doesn't sing for cocky English majors.
She sings for anyone with a genuine love of country music -- or as
she calls it, "torch and twang."
Hailing from the prairies of Alberta, Canada, lang grew up
