A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in Plymouth Congregational Church for John B. Millar, 49, of Framingham, a Boston Gas Co. manager.

He died unexpectedly on Saturday in Marlborough Hospital.

Born in Waterbury, Conn., he had lived in Framingham for the past 25 years. He graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, in 1960, and later received a master's degree from Boston University.

Mr. Millar was a manager for Boston Gas for the past 25 years.
