Wheaton College graduates say hundreds of alumnae around the
country are awaiting the outcome of a court hearing tomorrow that
may decide whether the school can use alumnae-raised funds for new
coeducation plans.
Nine Wheaton alumnae and friends will represent what one
graduate said were the many alumnae around the country upset by the
school's plans to admit men this fall for the first time in its
154-year history.
