DEDHAM - In John Lee's first year as Walpole coach (1968), Dedham beat his team, 38-22. Since then, the rivalry has been a lopsided David and Goliath affair, with Walpole going 17-0-1. (Dedham managed a 14-14 tie in 1975).

Yesterday, David slew Goliath -- David Flynn, that is.

Flynn, a junior fullback, scored all 20 points as Dedham stunned previously unbeaten Walpole, rallying for a 20-14 victory.
