Milton - oosic's Mike Haran shot a sterling 2-under-par 72 for medalist honors as 56 young golfers qualified at seven sites for the Massachusetts Golf Association Junior Championship that will be held July 27-29 at Putterham Meadows in Brookline.

Haran led the field at North Hill by three strokes in one of the oldest junior championships in the nation, dating back to 1914.
