The walls of Bill Trayes's waterfront Tudor, his childhood home in Rockport, are usually covered with original artworks by some of the finest painters to spend time on Cape Ann. Now the house looks as if it's been burgled.

A moving crew took away most of Trayes's magnificent collection. He is the guest curator of "Enlightened View: Artists Teaching on Cape Ann," an exhibition that opened Friday and continues through Aug. 12 at Beverly's Montserrat College of Art.
