When a waiter confesses that the first time he saw the bathroom ceiling at the new South End hot spot 28 Degrees, he thought, "I don't think I'm cool enough to work here," it makes us wonder a) are we cool enough to be here, and b) what kind of ceiling can possibly make a man question his cool?

The ceiling is indeed groovy. Water bubbles above glass panels, casting a rippling glow over the unisex washroom with candles flickering in the walls. And it does give a person pause: They went to all this trouble for little old me?
