BRIDES WINDING UP HIGH SCHOOL CAREER WITH A FLOURISH

WEST BRIDGEWATER - Don't mention the end of the softball season to
West Bridgewater High School softball pitcher Kate Brides. It might
bring her to tears.
The 18-year-old senior is finishing off an illustrious high school
career. When she joined the Wildcats six years ago, she was a gawky
seventh-grader with a 10 o'clock curfew. Now, she is a confident
young woman about to leave home for college in the fall.
Curfew? There is no more hard-and-fast curfew. "It's about trust,"
