Silver pieces by Paul Revere Jr. and other important silversmiths of Colonial Boston are among highlights of the property of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Jeffords of New York to be auctioned by Sotheby's on Oct. 28-29.

The 35 pieces of Boston silver represent about one-quarter of a 141-piece collection of early American silver that also includes examples by master craftsmen in Philadelphia, New York, Rhode Island, and the Mid-Atlantic colonies.
