WILLIAM BOOTH, 51; WORKED AS ATTORNEY IN PATENT LAW

William E. Booth, a patent attorney and longtime resident of
Dover, died Aug. 29 in Derry, N.H., after being thrown from his horse
during a cross-country event at a horse show in Chester, N.H. He was
51.
Mr. Booth was a principal at the law firm of Fish & Richardson in
Boston, specializing in patent interference.
"Bill was the person to turn to for calm, steady advice on the
thorniest patent issues," said David Feigenbaum, Mr. Booth's friend
and colleague of 25 years and a principal at Fish & Richardson. "The
