TAVERN NIGHT MUSIC, FUN WILL HELP WINSLOW HOUSE PAY ITS WAY

MARSHFIELD-- The tea room of the Historic Winslow House will
become an 18th-century tavern Saturday night to raise money for
upkeep of the structure.
Period music and games will help recreate the atmosphere of an
18th-century Saturday night at the Marshfield tavern, where hard-
working Colonial farmers came to unwind. Music will be provided by
the Jolly Rogues, who accompany their selections with an explanation
of each song's history, folklore, and meaning.
Built in Marshfield in 1699 by the heirs of Mayflower Pilgrim
Edward Winslow, the Winslow House was home to the prominent family
