EXETER CREW MAKES HISTORY ON THAMES

The Phillips Exeter Academy girls' crew team will make school history tomorrow in England when it competes in the Henley Women's Regatta.

It is the first time that the Exeter female rowers have ever taken part in the prestigious event, which is the crew equivalent of track and field's Penn Relays.

The Henley Regatta, which is rowed on the Thames River, traces its roots to 1839, but the women's regatta, which runs through this Sunday, is in just its 17th year. The two-time New England Prep- champion Exeter girls' crew will compete in the women's eight division.
