The Eastern Junior Hockey League, whose members include three area teams, has established itself as an important feeder system for college hockey in New England.

Over the past three years, more than 200 league graduates have gone on to collegiate play, many of them receiving financial aid for their talents. This year, 92 players went on to play college hockey, 35 at the Division 1 level, according to league officials.
