Late Thursday night, a group of George Mason University athletes met in a Fairfax apartment with the faint hope that the brutally beaten body of a woman discovered in Philadelphia was not that of Patriots' soccer and lacrosse star Aimee Willard. But their hopes were dashed yesterday when Philadelphia police and Willard's parents positively identified the body, in part because of a tattoo on Willard's right ankle.
