Behind the double doors of Carl Swanson's home on Jeffries Point, nearly all the space and even the air seems filled with harps.

An 1805 concert grand, on loan from a museum, and a half-dozen other harps claim the carpet like an SRO crowd. With their potbellies, they almost seem to peer over the back of a living-room chair where Swanson sits to chat with a visitor.
